  2. 1: Equality`s punishment is to be sent to the hall of detention, while he was there he was tied to iron post and lashed. Equality was also hit in the face a few times. Since he didn`t speak he was throne in a cell.
2: Equality remembered that there was no guards and the locks were old. The reason was that nobody ever tried to defey the councils orders. Equality just ran at the door, the door broke open. He then escaped and went to his tunnel.

  3. 2. While Equality is in the place of corrective detention ther are no gaurds at their door. The locks are also very old so they are easy to break. They then steal a candle and go through the dark tunnels and streets to their secret room.

    3. The old locks and lack of gaurds in the prison shows that nobody has ever tried to escape because nobody knows defience. Anybody who was locked away would have no idea what escape was. Also some of the people would be afraid to defy the concil in fear of what would happen to them if they tried.

    2. He just busted down the old rusty door, and the only reason he didn't have trouble was because he was the first to try it.

  6. 1) Equality punishment was that he got send to the Palace of Corrective Detention. Where he got wiped for not tell the guards where he was that night.

    2) Equality freed him self from the Palace of Corrective Detention by kicking the door down.

  7. 1. The punishments was to get beaten until he told where he was. He didn't tell so he went to jail.

    2. The locks were old in the jail because nobody tried to break out. But he did he just kicked it and it broke and he was free.

  9. #1: he got grounded and he didn't gt to leave the house for like a month or so and he got lashed with lips

#2: he passed out and he couldn't wake up for a while cause he was unconsuaus where he got bashed in the lips.

#3: the old lack of guards and lacks shows that no one has ever tried to escape the prison and they didn't have enough guts to even try to escape the prison cause they would be scared of what would happen If they ven thought of sneaking out of the prison.

  11. 1. his punishment for sneaking off in to his hole was being hit with a whip.

2.he was able to escape from the corrective detention palace ,because the hinges were weak and there were no guards watching, because they thought that know one would try to escape.

  12. 1.The consequence for his actions are terrible. Being lashed multiple times across the back is very painful. I couldn't imagine what he felt like while that was happening.

    2. Not a soul was there guarding the doors. He kicked it down and was set free. The reason no one had ever escaped is because nobody ever tried, because they were to afraid.

  15. 2) Equality got out of the Palace of Corrective Detention because the locks on the cells were very old and weak. They also got out of there because their is no guards because no one has rebelled them.

    3) They never tried to rebel against them before because they had a fear on what might happen to them. Like they would be "the damned". They also could be sent to the World Council to be sentence to the worst.
